It’s been 8 days since I landed in Boulder. Qwest was finally able to turn on the internet for my apartment today, so that’s one important item off the list. It’s been a long week of administrative crap – I had to do four sessions of various RA/TA orientation, culminating in today’s overview of CU’s Discrimination and Harassment policies. Fun. I also had to fill out various amounts of paperwork, apply for a Colorado driver’s license (to establish residency), get myself situated at the health center, and some other junk. I saw our marching band practicing today – the drum line is actually pretty good.
I start classes on Monday. I’m taking Introduction to Computational Theory, User Centered Design, and Intro to the CS PhD. Hopefully I’ll remember to update this site every once in a while with what I’m learning.
