Hello there! You've reached the portfolio-ish site of Ben Leduc-Mills. I like using my background in computer science, HCI, and design to uncover answers to questions people didn't know they should be asking, and then crafting a data-driven, design-polished, narrative-rich artifact to tell the story.
Yes, I use AI everyday. For code, for design, and for research. No, I didn't use it for this website.
Photon SIK
The SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for Photon is an introductory Internet-of-Things experiment kit, with a Particle Photon compatible microcontroller, breadboard, and a variety of sensors. Along with other members of SparkFun’s IoT taskforce, we designed the kit, the BOM, the experiments, and the instruction guide from top to bottom. Below are a few of the experiments I was personally responsible for: a color-picker integration with Twitter, and a micro-OLED pong game with a web-based scoreboard.
